And I am very scared, but I can do hard things (and so can you, you wonderful ADHDer)
While not strictly covering the topic of ADHD, I have been asked to make my panel debut for my old University!
As part of IDAHOBIT (international day against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia) celebrations, Utas has collected some LGBTIQA+ business founders, and will put us in a room with wine and cheese and ask us questions! If that sort of thing is your jam, the link to book through eventbrite is here….
Content note for the next paragraph – violence, self harm.
On a serious note, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia are deadly. People in these groups are at a much higher risk of self harm than the general population, and trans people even more so. They are also more likely to be victims of extreme violence, especially trans women. When you couple that with the fact that ADHDers are also at increased risk of this, the stats are not good for the survival rates of neurodivergent trans folk. This is why IDAHOBIT day is important.
Thanks for being here x
